Both versions

If you find that, after a while, audio tracks start dropping out one by one, this is because the 60-minute demo period has expired. After this happens, the loops will only play once. The application will function normally once you purchase it and enter the authorization code.

Windows version

No ChatterBlocker tech support issues have been reported for the current Windows version.

Mac OS X version

For the Mac OS X version, there is currently a problem when using the PreSonus FireBox and possibly other third-party audio interfaces.

We expect to fix this in a future version. In the meantime, ChatterBlocker should work fine if you open System Preferences, click on the Sound icon, click the Output tab, and select select Internal Speakers / Built-in Audio.

If you get a "not properly installed" error after installing the 1.1.1 version, please delete the following files:

•  /Applications/ChatterBlocker.app
•  ~/Library/Application Support/ChatterBlocker
•   /Library/Receipts/ChatterBlocker 1.1.1 for Mac - Demo.pkg or
•  /Library/Receipts/ChatterBlocker 1.1.1 for Mac - Full.pkg

and download the 1.1.2 or later version and try again.

If you get: "Directory '/Users/yourdisk/Library/Application/Support/ChatterBlocker/ChatterBlocker_Content' couldn't be created (error 13: Permission denied)",

1. Delete the following files and directories if they exist:

• /Applications/ChatterBlocker.app
• ~/Library/Application Support/ChatterBlocker
• /Library/Receipts/ChatterBlocker 1.1.x for Mac - Demo.pkg
• /Library/Receipts/ChatterBlocker 1.1.x for Mac - Full.pkg

2. Run the Disk Utility from /Applications/Utilities. Select the Macintosh HD then choose 'Repair disk permissions'.

3. Reinstall the latest ChatterBlocker 1.1.x for Mac - [Full or Demo] setup. This can be downloaded from our downloads page.
